"Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body."

-Hebrews 13:3

Freedom House Orphanage ...

Located in the heart of the enormous Mae La Refugee Camp in Northern Thailand, the Freedom House Orphanage is the home to 36 Karen children between the ages of 6 and 16. Each one of these orphans has come across the border from neighboring Burma, where the military is actively hunting and killing the Karen.

These children have been through a lot in their short lives. Many of them were present when their parents were martyred, and were forced to hide in the jungles with other relatives in their effort to reach the refugee camp. They now live in a thatched hut, surrounded by thousands of others in this enormous refugee camp.

Remember supplies the orphanage with funds to use to supplement what otherwise would be a diet of rice, and provides medical supplies, clothing, blankets, and educational materials for the use of the children. In addition, Remember has sponsored multiple trips for encouragement and medical assistance for the orphans.
