Dear Friend of the Persecuted Church—

            As I finish the wrap-up work that comes along with every missions trip, I am so excited to look to the future of Remember’s ministry.  Each of these trips strengthens our foundation for future ministry, and as God opens incredible doors, we are ready to jump through them without hesitation!

            One of the things that helps us lay the foundation for our work is our annual fundraising banquet.  Last year, 600 people were blessed by a presentation of Remember’s work, and we raised tens of thousands of dollars to bless the widows and orphans of martyrs worldwide.  This year, we’re praying for a thousand attendees at the October 2 banquet – and I would ask you to pray with us!

            October may sound like a long ways away at this point, but we are at the crucial stage of banquet planning.  Right now we have to raise the sponsorship money, get the word out, and plan all of the details that go into an event like this!  It can be an overwhelming task, but this banquet has the potential to catapult Remember’s ministry into the position to provide an ever-greater blessing to persecuted believers.

            If you are going to be in the Charleston area on October 2, be sure to RSVP to attend the banquet.  But whether or not you can attend, would you join us in praying that this event will provide life-changing blessing to hundreds and thousands?  It is not too much to ask our great God for such a blessing.

            Pray that God would raise up sponsors to offset the cost of the banquet, that all of the audiovisual details would fall into place, and that God would stir in people’s hearts to come and to give generously.  Pray in anticipation of the praise report to come, as God answers your prayers!
